Mr.zhao had given us a wonderful talk about the Suzhou tranditional landscpe on December 1st at our school hall.He was a famous professor of Nanjing Foresty University and had learned on the landscape design I felt and learned a lot from this talk.
Firstly, he talked about what was garden.He showed us a Chinese word called 'yuan' .Its struture best showed the answer.The word was around by a circle which meaned all the landscapes had the whole line outside so that it was divide from the out world.On the top of the word,there was a Chinese word which meaned land and it showed the natural land structure changes.There was a small circle in it as well which looked like a pool and it meaned the water part in the landscape design.On the bottom of the word was a Chinese word which meaned the branch of the tree.
Suzhou landscape had got all of these and one of the raeson was its own good factors.It was successful there were three main reasons.It found the natural joy in the noise world.It showed the fresh history culture.Finally，it was one of the most wonderful Artwork effected by the nature.
After introducing the general knowledge，he talked something about the Art characters of the Suzhou landscape.The first thing was dividing water and mountains which means change the natural structures of them so that they can mixed together well.The second thing was to put or add the stones one by one so that they were a whole part with the water，bridges and so on.Specially，the way of adding them is a little different because their top parts were outer than the bottom ones and they looked as they would fall down so that we could feel dangerous from them .The final thing was to organize the water system which was depend on the Chinese traditional cultures.
After listening to the talk，I knew more about landscapes，especially Suzhou landscape.I found that Art was everywhere and full of life smell.I found that landscape study wasn’t just builted a garden，its goals was to improve the people’s life as much as possible.We should respect the landscape designers and use our strengh to create own Artworks those could make the world better.
